artist labor sharing: how does this work?*
*Labor sharing is only required for artist members. Small business members do not have any labor sharing requirement.

We expect you to show up as much as you can. But, on the minimum side, expect a total contribution of 2 to 5 hours each month for the collective as a whole.

Committees are the core of our collective because they steer us strategically and ensures we can grow together. Think of them as department managers.

Currently, there are 4 committees:
Exhibition: in charge of curatorial work, submitting exhibition proposals, outreach to galleries, and exhibition logistics.
Vending: in charge of vendor events, including art fairs and pop up markets and all associated logistics.
Partnership: in charge of partnership development, including community partners and sponsors.
Programming: in charge of putting together public-facing programs, such as art hours, networking events, TPC-organized pop up events, etc.

Regular committee members serve a 1-year term, whereas committee chairs must serve a full 2-year term.

Business members: We will check in with you at the end of your one-year membership to confirm renewal.
Artist members: Your membership does auto renew, so please let us know before the year ends if you’ll no longer be available for labor sharing.
