Chaneryna Thach is a paper artist based in Kansas City, originally from Springfield, Missouri. She earned her BFA with a minor in Asian Studies from the Kansas City Art Institute. Specializing in cut paper, Chaneryna often combines intricate paper work with other materials, embracing a mixed media approach to storytelling. Her work draws from her Cambodian American identity and Southeast Asian heritage, using art as a way to explore, honor, and question culture, memory, and belonging. Through vibrant, narrative-driven pieces, she aims to spark wonder while also sharing and educating others about Cambodian culture—highlighting its beauty, complexity, and rich history.
